Noonday Baptist Church Cemetery Extension in Marietta Ga
"Devil's Turnaround"
Initial Walk Through
12/11/04
Investigating Team: Kevin Fike, Chele Kumar
6:00pm - Investigation Begins
Chele and I began the initial walk through of the site noting the large number of sunken graves and other hole hazards before darkness set in. I carried my spot light on this walk though because of the coming darkness and we still needed to scout out the area. When we reached the rear of the cemetery my camera was unusable. Dispite the loss of my camera we continued our sweep of the cemetery taking EMF readings and noting anything in the area that was unusual. On this walk through no anomalous readings were recorded.
We returned to the base where I switched to my backup camera and replaced the spot light with a small light. While recording notes and setting up new camera the spot light to my side was knocked over, but this may have been the wind.
Shortly into the next walk though we heard screaming voices and several other loud sounds. A short investigation revealed a small home located against the cemetery was the source. Again we took EMF readings and again nothing unusual was recorded.
We did get EMF readings at the entrance to the cemetery on the way out. Which although recorded at a strange location had to be the nearby power lines.

Notes:
Main camera didn’t work when we reached the rear of the cemetery. Received two different error messages on the screen of camera, "System Failure" and "Lens Cap is On". The lense cap was removed at base camp when I tested the camera and checked charge of the battery. Everything was working on this camera before we went into the cemetery. Tested camera again when we got back to the car only to get the same error messages although the camera was working fine by the time we got home. It is suggested that the camera was just cold, which may explain this behavior although I have used this camera in much colder conditions.
Spotlight was knocked over at base camp.
On a sad note we noticed that there is a large number of graves in this cemetery that are beginning to crumble despite not being very old. Also, the Gravestones had yellow tape attached leading me to believe that this cemetery is slated to be moved.
