Lawrenceville Historic Cemetery

Lawrenceville Historic Cemetery

This historic cemetery is found right in the middle of Lawrenceville. It is surrounded by a wrought iron fence and is a very peaceful place. Graves here date from the mid 1700s.Several revolutionary war soldiers and civil war are soldiers buried here. It also has a section where slaves were buried.

Preliminary Investigation Report

One of the stories associated with this cemetery is of a woman in white that walks along the center row of the cemetery between the trees.

While we were there we did not see the woman in white but we did have problems with our cameras not working properly, one reading was recorded by one of the EMF meters and one EVP was captured. One area is of special interest to us as both investigating teams had occurrences there. One team heard foot steps in the same area that the sensitive on the other team felt a "motherly" feeling at.

This is another location we look forward to investigating again and focusing more on that area.
