Saint James Episcopal Cemetery

St. James Episcopal church was established in 1842. The cemetery not long afterwards. The St. James Episcopal cemetery is close to the square in Marietta, and is surrounded by a wrought iron fence that is usually locked. The cemetery is tiny and very well cared for.

Preliminary Investigation - March 5, 2005

Preliminary Investigation Report

One of the stories told about this cemetery is of a statue that cries. We did not witness this phenomenon while we were there. We always show the upmost respect so we gave her no reason to cry. We did not get any meter readings this evening. We did not observe anything on the infrared video taken that evening either. We did capture one interesting picture and got one EVP that evening.

This is a beautiful little cemetery full of historical figures. As soon as we are able to return, we will plan another investigation at this location.
